This annual event enjoyed good weather and a SOLD OUT EVENT! The total ship passenger list exceeded 900 and our Chapter was pleased to have 108 registered to board!
Our Chapter members, families & guests shared in this Veterans Day commemoration- recognizing & honoring the contributions of our veterans, in war & peace, throughout our nation’s history. Project Liberty Ship and the crew of the historic Liberty Ship SS John W. Brown sponsored a Baltimore Outer-Harbor Cruise sailing past Fort McHenry. This two hour cruise featured a Memorial Service and wreath-laying, military music, a chorus singing songs of World War II, snacks and tours of the ship. The BROWN sailed from & returned to N. Locust Point Marine Terminal.
Project Liberty Ship is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the S.S. JOHN W. BROWN as a Living, Steaming WW II Memorial and Museum Ship in Baltimore. * * *

The Guest speaker was Julie Nelson – Deputy Maritime Administrator, U.S. Maritime Administration.
