| Lynne Doughtie has 18 years of experience with KPMG and currently serves as partner-in-charge of the Midatlantic Information Risk Management Practice. Lynne has extensive experience in areas such as internal control and risk assessments, project risk management, internal audit assistance, assessment of third-party processing centers and assessments of controls as part of KPMG's financial statement audits. Most recently Lynne has been focusing on assisting companies with their documentation and assessments of internal controls over financial reporting with regards to Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 . Lynne serves as KPMG's Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Resource Partner for the Midatlantic region and has served as a national instructor on this topic to train KPMG professionals. Lynne is currently leading several teams of professionals in documenting and assessing internal controls using the COSO framework. Lynne received a BS in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and currently serves on the Virginia Tech Accounting and Information Systems Department Advisory Board and serves on the Board of Directors for INROADS of Virginia . |
