VET-FORCE CONGRESSIONAL ROUNDTABLE:

The VET-Force will host a Congressional Roundtable on Capitol Hill to allow members of Congress to hear the concerns and issues from veterans doing business in the federal market place. Congressman Bob Filner, Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, will convene the Roundtable discussion in the Caucus Room 345 of the Cannon House Office Building.

Prior to the Roundtable discussion, Jim Wilfong, the VET-Force Small Business Policy Committee Chair, will present A Report to the Nation entitled 'Breakdown! National Security Crisis in a Small Business World.' The report, sponsored by the Veterans Entrepreneurship Task Force (VET-Force), will enlighten you with regard to Small Business survival under U.S. Trade Policy, Department of Defense Contracting, and Economic and National Security Policies.

In the afternoon, 3 discussion forums will be held in Room 210 of the Cannon House Office Building on the topics of (1) Veterans Federal Procurement Program; (2) Subcontracting in the Federal Market Place; and (3) Expanding the Pool of Veteran and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Bussinesses.

VET-Force is made up of Veteran Business Owners, Veteran Service Organizations, Veterans and others who want to ensure that our veterans are afforded fair and equal access to Procurement Opportunities and Employment in both the Federal Marketplace and the Private Business Sector such that they, their families, and our communities can participate in the American Dream.

The VET-Force meetings are open to the public. ALL PERSONS ARE WELCOMED TO ATTEND. Persons out of the area normally may participate via conference call line. However, for the Congressional Roundtable and Policy Forums, no phone lines will be available.

For copies of the VET-Force Membership Application and latest version of the VET-Force Report to the Nation go to www.VetsGroup.org.

I look forward to your participation in the discussion to increase contracting opportunities for service-disabled veteran and veteran owned businesses.

Please pass the word!
