Two Conferences In One!!

TVWorldwide, in conjunction with Homeland Defense Journal, is pleased to offer its coverage of two special conferences pertaining to homeland security: The Transportation and Border Security Conference and The Maritime Security Conference.

On a typical day, more than 1.1 million passengers and pedestrians, including over 630,000 aliens, over 235,000 air passengers, over 333,000 privately owned vehicles, and over 79,000 shipments of goods are processed at the nation’s borders. A top Administration priority since the events of 9/11 has been to improve immigration controls and security along the borders with Canada and Mexico. See a host of experts weigh in on a growing threat during the Transportation and Border Security Conference!

Another issue facing the nation is the security of America's ports. As commercial globalization and manufacturing outsourcing grows industries becomes more dependent on the availability of secure maritime infrastructure. Throughout the world government enforcement resources are limited so the demand for more rigorous maritime security is growing among major shippers and receivers. The Maritime Security Conference will look to the future to address this trend while factoring in the changing policy priorities of the new Congress.
