For the last 21 years, the Middle-aged Football League (MFL) of the Capital area has played Sunday touch football games from Sept. through January. Comprised of DC area professionals, aged 25-50, these games have served as a weekly convivial gathering of colleagues who share business and personal interests while engaging in a sport they love and can't (but probably should) give up.
Over the years, the league has attracted a wide variety of participants ranging from venture capitalists, attorneys, hill staffers and brokers to engineers, business owners, doctors and Internet entrepreneurs who play each week in mud bowls, ice bowls, snow bowls and even a yearly Turkey Bowl at Thanksgiving.
This year's webcast will also feature interactive e-mail. The event again will raise money for several charities through event sponsorship packages (detailed in the link below.) Your are invited to join us for this unique, entertaining and worthwhile event, live here at this site on Feb 6, 2005 at 11:30 AM EST as aging war-horses clash once again in the 2005 6th Annual Capital Cyber Bowl.

About the Touchdown Club
Since its founding over 68 years ago as a DC area sports club, Touchdown Club Charities has been committed to the mission of honoring past sports legends, current stars and encouraging future leaders. The original Touchdown Club's Timmie Award preceded the Heisman Trophy and its annual dinner attracted Presidents to the superstars of the day. TDC also boasts the nation's oldest Hall of Fame – a rare series of oil paintings commissioned since 1935 featuring legendary football heroes.
Proud of its history, the TDC today maintains it strong network of dedicated members and has broadened and rededicated its mission of giving to youth and community causes.
Our members enjoy well-attended monthly gatherings at various area venues where business leaders often mix with politicians and professional athletes. Popular annual fundraising events like the Superbowl Party or the “Kids Are The Winners!” Golf Tournament are highlights of a full calendar of TDC events.
