KIMBERLY GAVALETZ,
LOCKHEED MARTIN

Kimberly Gavaletz is the Vice President, Corporate Internal Audit for Lockheed Martin in Bethesda, Maryland, a position she has held since 2000. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer for Consolidated Space Operations in Houston, Texas. Kimberly frequently represents the Corporation and Executive Offices in speaking and training engagements, internal and external.

Kimberly created a Corporate-Wide Audit Council to coordinate/evolve the Lockheed Martin Total Audit Program, and was the co-chair defining and initiating the Society of Women Engineers Corporate Partnership Council. Previously, she led the engineering, software development, integration & test and program management organizations for NASA Space Shuttle & Space Station Mission Control Center Development.

Kimberly received her Bachelors Degree from Baylor University. She is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors, Inc. (IIA), The IIA Washington, DC Chapter, the Society of Women Engineers (Co-Chair Corporate Partnership Council), International Council of Systems Engineering (Houston Vice President Technical), AIAA, and the Defense Acquisition Alumni Association.
