is the Director of the Internal Auditing Department for FirstEnergy
Corporation with more than 23 years of internal auditing experience
and 33 years overall business experience. FirstEnergy is the
fourth largest investor owned electric utility holding company
in the United States serving over 4 million customers in Ohio,
Pennsylvania, and New Jersey with $12 billion of annual revenue.
The Internal Auditing Department of FirstEnergy is composed
of 23 auditors and staff personnel.
Dave
is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant
and holds an M.B.A. from Baldwin Wallace College. Dave received
his undergraduate degree in accounting from John Carroll University.
Dave
was the 2001-2002 Chairman of the Board for The Institute
of Internal Auditors (IIA) and has served in a variety of
positions from the chapter level through the executive level
of The IIA over his 20 years of IIA membership.
Dave
is married and lives with his wife, Marilyn, on a "gentleman's
farm" in Avon, Ohio. Dave and Marilyn have three children
and three grandchildren.
