on the black granite memorial will be read aloud in Washington,
D.C. The Reading of the Names first occurred in November 1982
during the Memorial's dedication activities and took place
again in November 1992 during the 10th Anniversary events.
Throughout the Reading of the Names, Honor Guards will be
posted by the half-hour at the apex of The Wall.
Annual Veterans Day Observance at
The Wall
More than 20,000 Vietnam veterans and their families are expected
to attend the Annual Veterans Day Observance at The Wall.
The event is co-hosted by the Memorial Fund and the National
Park Service.
