Experience Summary:
Has over twenty years experience in research and development related to human factors engineering and human performance. At Georgia Tech, has directed and conducted a broad range of human factors research projects. The following are major current/recent projects:

" Directs GTRI's efforts in support of the SH-2G(A) helicopter. Chairs the Human Engineering Working Group. Has lead technical and managerial responsibility for display design, human engineering analysis, and test & evaluation tasks performed by GTRI.
" Directed the development of the ErgoTMC website, a set of tools developed by GTRI for FHWA. The tools help TMC designers access human factors information for use in the design process.
" Associate Project Director, "Human Factors in ATMS Evolution". Led human factors analysis tasks and directed experimentation in the Traffic Management Center Simulator.
" Project Director, Utah DOT Traveler Information System 511 Human Factors Support. Supports the development of the dial-up 511 traveler information system in preparation for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
" Task Leader, Driver Perception of Safe Speed on Urban Roadways. Leads the human factors research task on a project for FHWA. Focus is on identifying roadway and environmental characteristics that affect driver perception of safe speed on low-speed roadways.
" Project Director, ACDE Human Factors Support. Supports the NRO's development of an Advanced Concept Development Environment.
" Directed GTRI's efforts in support of the H-1 Upgrade Program, and served on the H-1 Cockpit Working Group in support of Litton and Bell Helicopter.
" Supports the ITTATC at Georgia Tech. Activities include support of needs assessment, technical assistance, and program evaluation efforts.
