USVets.TV Internet TV Channel has teamed with George T. Brown Associates Inc. to Feature SBA Speakers in Live Outreach Webcast for Veteran Business Owners

TV Worldwide’s Internet TV Channel for US Veterans, (www.USVets.TV) in Cooperation with Task Force for Veterans Entrepreneurship and other Sponsors to Present U.S. Small Business Administration Panelists in Live Interactive Webcast on Federal Contract Assistance for Veterans, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 1 PM ET

The 4-hour webcast on TV Worldwide’s Internet TV Channel for Veterans, USVets.TV, (www.USVets.TV) will highlight everything from initial start-up assistance for veteran businesses approaching federal agencies for the first time, to methods for forecasting and successfully closing federal contract opportunities. The live webcast will begin Wednesday, December 14th at 1PM ET and will be archived for later viewing for a full year. DVD and CD-ROM video copies will also be made available to interested Veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses.

Teresa Lewis, SBA Assistant Administrator, Office of Federal Contract Assistance for Veteran Business Owners will be coordinating the presentations of the SBA speakers and panelists who will reach out to veterans on-line during the webcast. Veterans will be able to respond interactively through e-mail with specific questions and representatives of the Task Force for Veterans Entrepreneurship will be on hand to facilitate the webcast discussion to insure that the participating veterans get the specific answers they need.

George Brown, Executive producer of the program and a service disabled veteran himself, said, “This is just the first step in what we hope will be a series of steps to even the playing field for Service Disabled Veterans and help Federal contracting officials meet their SDVOB goals”

As the Small Business Administration’s point woman for improving veteran-owned small business contracting in response to President Bush’s Executive Order mandating federal compliance pro-vet business statutes, Lewis understands how critically important these outreach efforts are.

”We welcome the opportunity to work with TV Worldwide to provide content for this important webcast...“ stated Lewis.

“We look forward to helping veterans learn more...” says Joe Wynn, a special advisor to the VVA and member of the Task Force for Veterans Entrepreneurship who will be participating in the webcast.

“Our TV Worldwide staff takes great pride in producing this broadcast for American veteran entrepreneurs,” noted Dave Gardy, Chairman and CEO of TV Worldwide. “We want to thank our USVets.TV sponsors for making this possible and we are pleased to have the opportunity to give back in helping veteran-owned businesses and SDVOB’s gain access to federal contracting opportunities.”
