On Wednesday, March 19th, between the hours of 10:00 am-1:00 pm, ENG will conduct a Director's Review. This review will be convened at the National Science Foundation headquarters in Arlington, VA. in room 375. The ENG Director's Review is being held to identify research trends and opportunities to help inform NSF's strategic planning. The Review will be open forum for all interested NSF staff, in addition to being attended by the Director, Deputy Director, and the other members of NSF's Senior Management. The Review will be an opportunity for Engineering to communicate the excitement of the research being supported and the intellectual challenges that are being pursued. The focus will be more on anticipated future research directions and the implications for strategic planning than on recent accomplishments. The presentations will be designed to spur discussion and debate on high-priority issues.
