The National Academy of Sciences is hosting a workshop sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology to discuss ways to strengthen coordination and interoperability between US Government and partner nations during response to an international chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or high-yield explosive (CBRNE) event.

As a first step in building a coalition of experts and stakeholders in CBRNE issues, this workshop will invite diverse perspectives and ideas on improving coordination in the USG response to CBRNE events in partner nations.  This workshop will:

  • Identify capabilities needed for international CBRNE response
  • Discuss best practices for coordinated USG and partner nation response to a CBRNE event

This workshop is open to all nations and interested parties.
