NAB presented a special live DTV transition webcast on Tuesday, April 8, at 12 p.m. EDT for congressional district staff and caseworkers. The webcast was hosted by NAB Executive Vice President of Television Marcellus Alexander and Vice President of Digital Television Transition Jonathan Collegio. This briefing gives participants the opportunity to learn:

• How the federally-mandated transition will impact communities across America
  
  
• How to educate constituents about the switch
  
  
• What consumer education and outreach initiatives are already underway by broadcasters
  
  
• How to obtain information about the DTV coupon program and converter boxes, as well as basic information on the transition and its key players
  
  
• What resources NAB can provide to help members of Congress educate their constituents

Additionally, live participants were given the opportunity to ask questions about the transition, via email, during the webcast.
