IDEAS 2003: Breakthroughs in Access

ITTATC (Information Technology Technical Assistance and Training Center)

Federal initiatives and legislation including the President's Management Agenda, E-Government, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 are changing the operating environment of the Federal government. Agencies must act with efficiency, accountability, and ensure accessibility of information to all customers and employees.

Through workshops, discussions, and an extensive exhibit area, IDEAS 2003 will offer attendees the resources, training, and technical tools for understanding the "how-to" of accessible electronic and information technology (EIT). Special attention will be given to existing programs within the Federal government that have successfully increased access to EIT, as well as, to newly developed tools that facilitate the procurement/market research aspect as it applies to meeting the compliance issues of Section 508.

If you can’t be present, you can view IDEAS 2003 archived webcast on November 10th, 2003 at www.tvworldwide.com or AT508.com. The event will be archived for a full year! Participants should have the free Real Video Player or the free Windows Media Player installed to view the event.
