Eric Qualkenbush Bio

Eric L. Qualkenbush joined the University of Findlay 's Center for Terrorism Preparedness as its Director in September, 2002. A former member of the Federal Government's Senior Executive Service, Eric comes to the Center for Terrorism Preparedness after a 25 year career with the Central Intelligence Agency. During his CIA career, Eric lived abroad for more than 15 years, conducting undercover espionage and counter terrorism operations. He helped create the CIA's first organization to combat Weapons of Mass Destruction and managed congressional relations and budgets for the Directorate of Operations. In the last three years of his career, Eric served as the Director of Training and Education, the organization responsible for all aspects of the CIA's training. Eric is a native of Findlay , Ohio where he lives with his wife, Kathy. Eric holds a BA in Russian Area Studies from Bowling Green State University .
