The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) presents the winners of the 6th Annual Emmy® Awards for Business & Financial Reporting. In addition, this year's Lifetime Achievement Award for Business and Financial Reporting is presented to David Schlesinger, Editor-in-Chief of Reuters News at Thomson Reuters.

Established over 150 years ago, Reuters News is read by over a billion people each day in 19 languages. Reporting from bureaus all over the world, Reuters journalists and photographers provide comprehensive, market-moving coverage of world events to newspapers and broadcasters. As Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Schlesinger oversees all editorial operations and strategy. He joined the company as a correspondent in the Hong Kong bureau in 1987, and assumed his current position in 2007.

The Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting recognize outstanding achievement in business & financial reporting telecast or webcast from July 1, 2007 thru June 30, 2008. The Emmy Awards for Promotional Announcements recognize outstanding promotional announcements in News & Documentary programming aired in 2007.
