This year's Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Emmy Awards will include animation winners and awards in two new categories called New Approaches.

The Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation Emmy® Award is a juried award given for a single episode of a series or special.

The New Approaches categories emphasize innovative production techniques and the use of media enhancement to support content. and will be awarded this year for Daytime Entertainment Daytime Children's Entertainment.
