Chantilly, Va. TV Worldwide.com, Inc., a fast-growing web-based global TV network, today announced that it will webcast the Sixth Annual “Capital Cyber Bowl” to benefit the Touchdown Club Charities of Washington D.C. This unique event has attracted widespread sponsorship and national interest while highlighting a local rivalry that exists between tech executives and their brick and mortar counterparts in the web-savvy Northern Virginia business community.

“Many of these guys have met every on Sunday during the season for the last 21 years to live out past football fantasies and network. They're really excited to play in this tech vs. brick and mortar format and the sponsors have responded to help us benefit a variety of worthy causes over the past 5 years,” commented Dave Gardy , Chairman of TVWorldwide.com. “The Web Warriors have won in 2000 and 2002, the Brick and Mortars won in 2001, 2003 and 2004. In fact the Bricks have scored 46 unanswered points in the last 2 years. But the Web Warriors are ready with a little more bandwidth this year.”

“We're going to demolish these Internet tech-geeks one more time,” remarked Bricks and Mortar tight end Mike D'Amato, a shipyard engineer. “They're sector may be improving, but on Super Bowl Sunday we'll be dishing out another dose of Brick and Mortar reality.”

“We plan to expose the legacy system incompatibilities in the Brick and Mortar game plan,” stated Microsoft's Steve Lough, Web Warrior quarterback. “They're due for some serious upgrades.”

Event sponsors include Base Technologies, BVB Advertising, Washington Business Journal, Progressive Radiology, Dulles National Financial Services, Studley Commercial Real Estate, 3D-Life Investments, Bisnow on Business, TV Worldwide and radio's nationally-syndicated David Lawrence Show.

“We're excited about this Fifth Annual Cyberbowl,” said Gary Nakamoto, President of the Touchdown Club of Washington. “It's good to see players on both teams engaged in this gridiron battle to help Touchdown Club Charities. We want to thank the event sponsors for supporting this webcast to benefit and promote Touchdown Club efforts.”

Capital Cyber Bowl coverage begins at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday, February 6 at www.tvworldwide.com. Participants should have the free Windows Media Player installed and should log on prior to the event to test the free video stream.
