Assessing Restructured Electricity Markets: An APPA Symposium,
February 5th, 2007

At this day-long symposium, the American Public Power Association (APPA) will present the findings of a series of new investigative studies of the current state and future direction of the restructured wholesale electricity markets in the United States.  This symposium is part of the first stage of the Electric Market Reform Initiative (EMRI), created by APPA to first assess, and then address the serious challenges facing public power and other participants in wholesale markets across the country.
