Welcome to Boston,
On the behalf of the 2006 conference Planning Committee and the ACT Patriot Chapter let me be the first welcome you to Boston for the 2006 ACT International Conference. This conference brings together hunderets of transportation professionals from around the United States, Canada, and Europe, providing us an opportunity to hear the latest in the field of transportation demand managment, create new partnerships, and catch up with old friends and colleagues.
The conference program is an exciting combination of marketing sessions, best practices, and public policy that promises to provide you with new and useful information. Our keynote speakers include John Cogliano, Secretary of Transportation for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Dan Grabauskas, General Manager of the MBTA. Jimmy Tingle, one of the countries’s leading political and social satirists will entertain us all at the ACT Awards Celebration and Jane Holts Kay, author of Asphalt Nation will close the conference leaving us all thinking and believing in the importance of our work.
