The National Center on Education and the Economy’s (NCEE) Center on International Education Benchmarking will release two major reports on professional learning environments in top performing systems and the implications for school leaders, policymakers and the education profession in the United States. The meeting will feature three panel conversations with the leading voices in education from around the world. 

Following the release of the 2015 National Assessment of Educational Progress scores, the conversation surrounding how to improve teaching and learning in the U.S. has gained traction. The findings detailed in Jensen and Zhang’s reports provide essential information on how the U.S. can learn from the top performing education systems by adapting those lessons for the U.S.’s context and culture.
