The auditorium is accessible to people with disabilities.

This conference focused on technology, and industry goals, challenges, and strategies for creating an environment with easy accessibility to Information Technology (IT) by people with disabilities – moving towards the ultimate goal of Universal Design and Accessibility.

Presentations included grand challenges and long-range views on creating an environment with easy accessibility to Information Technology by people with disabilities, industry perspectives, information on regulations (including Section 508), legislative trends, related research and standards, and lessons learned from past experience.

Speakers included Information Technology leaders, IT accessibility experts, research and standards experts, representatives from regulatory agencies, and accessibility advocacy groups.
