Innovations
2001 Information
Now
entering its 16th year, INNOVATIONS is the largest business-to-business
trade show in Northern Virginia, home of the Washington
area's fastest growing and most dynamic business community.
Presented by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, INNOVATIONS
will return on October 24, 2001 at Fairfax County's premier
exposition venue, the Capital Expo and Conference Center,
in Chantilly.
As
the region's premier business event, INNOVATIONS is a magnet
for senior executives and managers looking for the right
tools to ensure their° organizations succeed in today's
competitive business environment. More than 50% of INNOVATIONS
2000 attendees were senior level executives and managers,
and 35% of attendees had primary decision-making authority
for purchasing at their company.
After
14 years in Tysons Corner, INNOVATIONS moved to the Capital
Expo and Conference Center last year and the response from
exhibitors and attendees was extraordinary. Attendance records
for the trade show were shattered when nearly 4,000 attendees
crowded the Exhibit Hall to check out the goods and services
offered by 240 exhibitors. Many of those attendees enjoyed
an outstanding lineup of speakers that included nationally
renowned business and political leaders like Steve Forbes
of Forbes Publishing and John Sidgmore of WorldCom.
With
15 years of trade show experience, the Fairfax County Chamber
has created an event unlike any other in the region. INNOVATIONS
2001 will highlight the Washington area's leading and emerging
IT, Internet and telecommunications firms in two special
showcase pavilions. The two tech pavilions flank the center
of the trade show floor, where attendees will find the region's
leading companies in finance, law, government contracting,
healthcare and general business.
The
trade show will also feature several of the Chamber's popular
speakers programs and networking events, featuring national
business and political leaders. Plans include an IT Series
breakfast, FAME Series luncheon, two Biz EssentialsTM professional
development seminars and an exciting keynote address by
a nationally recognized business expert.
Trade
show hours are 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and admission to the
Exhibit Hall is free. In addition to 250 exhibits, INNOVATIONS
2001 will include Tech Tutorials with hands-on demonstrations
of the latest technology products and services, a Book Center
featuring renowned authors, live webcasts from a studio
on the show floor and hourly drawings for valuable prizes.
