SOCP Meets in Pittsburgh, PA, June 3-4, 2003
The first day’s agenda will focus on Inland Water
Issues and conclude with Capt. Fink, USCG, providing an
update on MMD & MLD Reorganization; On the second day
the meeting will focus on discussions on the status and
direction of SOCP projects and initiatives.
The
Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP) invites maritime
industry representatives to attend the SOCP's June 3-4,
2003, meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. On the first day of the
meeting hear presentations and a discussion panel with an
inland water focus. The first day will conclude with a presentation
from Captain Ernest Fink, USCG, who will provide an update
on the Merchant Mariner Documentation (MMD) & the Mariner
Licensing and Documentation (MLD) reorganization. Day two
of the meeting will focus on SOCP projects and initiatives,
and provide a forum to discuss their status and direction.
The SOCP Mariner Administrative Card Project, Ballast Water
Technology Testing Program and the ISO Third Party Audit
pool among others will be discussed. Full agenda and detailed
