Santa" video webcast with special "webcapting™"
technology to offer captioned video streaming for the
disabled. The holiday event, scheduled for Friday, December
6 beginning at 6 PM EST as a simul-webcast available
at www.tvworldwide.com
and co-promoter, Real
Networks, and Christmas.com,
will feature Santa reading holiday stories and interacting
with participants in the studio and around the world
by chat, e-mail and phone in different scheduled appearances
throughout the evening. Those with disabilities will
be able to join in the fun thanks to the webcapted™
streaming video, a process developed in concert with
TVWorldwide.com's Abletv.net channel, the first global
Internet televsion channel for disabled.

is had a huge response last year as an historical first
for streaming video and we're provisioning the server
to accommodate several million page views based on last
years logs and current projections with help of Christmas.com's

make it accessible for those with disabilities. We're

The
event will be compressed and archived for viewing later
in conventional video format. Participants should have
the free Real Player installed prior to the event and
