TVWorldwide.com, a global Internet broadcaster and streaming media service provider, announced that they had been selected by National Trade Productions to webcast the upcoming Government Security Expo and Conference (GOVSEC), live from the Washington Convention Center, July 24-25, 2002. The free webcast will feature interviews with industry leaders attending GOVSEC and highlight the latest security products, services and news. Leaders in the government security sector will discuss the rapidly evolving demand for their services and the new technologies and solutions to meet that demand. Visitors to the GOVSEC webcast will be able to post questions to interviewees and participate in Q&A via chat and e-mail, providing a fully interactive forum for sharing of information. Premier webcast sponsors include BaseTechnologies, Inc. with other sponsors lining up to support the event.

Denise Medved, GOVSEC General Manager stated, "We're excited to be able to offer an interactive webcast of the GOVSEC event to showcase the full spectrum of physical and information security solutions for federal, state and local government agencies that will be featured at the show. We've teamed with TVWorldwide.com to webcast the event because of their vast expertise in streaming successful interactive industry events via Internet TV."

"We're pleased to work with NTP, proven leader in federal trade show production, as they deploy this state-of-the-art approach in delivering the GOVSEC experience to the widest possible audience, not only live, but archived afterwards for a full year," commented Dave Gardy, Chairman and CEO of TVWorldwide.com. "With the current interest in this sector, this webcast is already attracting a lot of attention nationally and with such a large on-line savvy audience, we're provisioning our servers accordingly to meet the demand for those who want to participate across the country."

The event will be broadcast live and also archived for later viewing at www.tvworldwide.com and www.govsecinfo.com. Participants should have the free Real Video Player installed prior to the event and should log on by 11:30 AM, EDT, on July 24th.
